Friendship day is an occasion to celebrate the beautiful bonds of friendship.Friends fill our lives with joy,happiness and give us countless moments to cherish forever.People come together on this special day,to express their love and gratitude for their friends by sharing gifts,chocolates and tying friendship bands for eachother.
Friendship day was celebrated by ELC children on 3rd of August 2026.Children came dressed up well to celebrate the day and have fun.
They sat in groups with their class peers and teachers and each group chose a name for themselves. A name symbolizing friendship,A name from the movies which celebrated and cherished friendship."Meiazhagan" was the name for Express A group,"Dosth badaa dosthu" was chosen by the Express B children.The young adults of Mini vocational programme,tagged themselves under the popular phrase "Nanbenda" and the Experience group children chose "Mustafa mustafa" for their group.
Friendship bands were made by the children using beads,shells and ribbons.They greeted each other and tied friendship bands for everyone in their group.In addition,each child chose their best friend and tied a friendship band for him/her.They chose their best friend by reaching out to them,by communicating it verbally or using Avaz app.They then happily took pictures with their friends.They enjoyed dancing for their favorite trending songs and had fun.
Friends always make our lives more colorful.This day reminds us to value the beautiful relationship and cherish our friends who bring happiness to our lives.
