At Ekadaksha,we celebrated world music day with Rajshree Akka and her mom,who are friends and well wishers of Ekadaksha. They sang Bhajans and film songs in Hindi,Tamil and English and our children and teachers sang along with them.Children expressed their joy by clapping along, swaying and few of them got up and danced too when the peppy songs were being sung.
Music is for everyone, regardless of age or ability. World Music Day is special as it brings people from all walks of life together to celebrate the power of music to inspire, heal, and unite us.The bright smiles on our children’s face during the music session was evident enough to show the healing power of music.
