Friendship day is on the first Sunday of August every year.On this day,people express their love for their friends,spend time with their friends.They exchange gifts l and wrist bands which is a tradition of friendship day celebration.
This year at Ekadaksha,special friendship day cards were made using artwork done by the children.Friendship day was celebrated in a simple yet a fun,enjoyable manner.All the children and teachers came in bright colorful dresses.They sat in a circle and the reason why friendship day is celebrated was explained.A friendship song was sung and children ran around in a circle.When the teacher stopped singing the song,the children had to run and find a pair for themselves.Some children were independent enough to choose their friend and form pairs,while few children needed guidance to choose and form pairs.
Then the children sat with their partners.Each pair came forward one by one and they exchanged the friendship day cards.The cards were coloured and decorated beautifully by the children with a heart in which the child's name was written.The children posed with their cards solo as well as with their partner.They shook hands and wished eachother either verbally or with the avaz app.The teachers too did the same amongst eachother. The finale was a group photo filled with cheers and smiles. The celebration ended with dancing energetically to their favorite peppy songs.
In a world that often feels divided, celebrating friendships spreads positivity and reminds us of the goodness in people.Making your friend's day special on Friendship Day doesn't require grand gestures or expensive gifts.It's about showing them that you care through thoughtful actions and showing them that we are there for eachother.The key is to make them feel valued and loved.
Ekadaksha children beautifully showed their love for their friends by giving cards,being with them,wishing and dancing with them.
Everyone deserves to have good friends in their lives.Our children too deserve that.The genuine feel of friendship was seen in their warm smiles and cheerful bright faces.
