Exursion time is here again, the time when we get away from the regular routines of school and roam about outside for a while. It is yet another memory of childhood, of school, of friends and teachers. Some moments to capture and retain with us forever and ever. This years excursion was at Guindy Park, Chennai. This park is filled with lush green trees, animals, shady spaces and a playground.
On the Excursion day, the children were all dressed smartly in their uniforms, all set for the outing. The journey in the van was an exciting one, as most of them love looking out of the window to observe the world outside. At the park, the children enjoyed walking around and seeing Deers, Monkeys, Tortoise, Emu, Ostrich and a variety of birds. The most fascinating sight was that of the peacock with its feathers spread out to show its beauty. We found a shady tree to sit under and enjoy some snacks. Teachers and children alike enjoyed the leisure walk, talk and food with eachother. Guindy park has left behind memories which will be cherished by everyone.
