Navaratri at Ekadaksha Learning Center was a blend of the traditions of the North and South of India. Navaratri or dussehra is celebrated for nine days and nine nights.
The children learnt garba and dandia dance for nine days. The dance had a lot of steps for coordination and it really helped the children. They helped to put a golu display (display of dolls) and parents were invited to see the display. The display included the artwork done by the children as well as topics they have learnt.
On the day of the celebration, the children did puja and sang songs. They helped to pack small gifts for their parents. Finally, they performed garba and dandia dance.
