India got independence on 15th August 1947. At Ekadaksha, we celebrate this day with our 'Special Parade' by our wonderful children. This parade includes the march past, hoisting of our national flag, saluting the flag and singing of our National Anthem.
This year we had a special chief guest and a favourite of all the children at the Center - Mr. Police Uncle (A puppet which we use during our regular classes too). The children were introduced to some freedom fighters from different parts of our country. They learnt to wish "Happy Independence Day".
Flags were painted on their hands. They also danced and listened to patriotic songs of our Country. Click here for photos of Independence day 2013.
