On 10th of July 2024 the children and teachers at Ekadaksha had a pleasant surprise.Yes,their favorite "Janaki aunty" visited them to immerse them into a magical world of stories.

Ms.Janaki narrated and enacted few stories with actions.The session began with a name song in which everyone said eachothers names,whispered the names and sang the names.Then they listened to a story about a place that ate so many bondas.The story with food ,the bajji song and the actions interested the children very much that they got totally involved.It was followed by the "Gajapathi kulapathy song".Then came a funny story about an old man and woman in which the old man wanted to read the newspaper peacefully but couldn't do it due to sounds around him.It was made so enjoyable with lots of actions and sounds which our children followed and repeated with great excitement.The song "We are going on a bear hunt" was performed with music using a djembe to which everyone sang along. 

All the stories and songs had simple movements and sounds which the children could easily follow.The rhythm and repetitions of tunes and sounds were so catchy that the children got glued to her. They listened well to the stories and enjoyed themselves.

It was a treat to watch Ms.Janaki narrate,perform and engage the children and teachers.The enthusisam and the vibe was great.It was a pleasure having Ms.Janaki at Ekadaksha and everyone had a lovely time.
