Teachers Day is celebrated on the 5th of September every year,which is the birth anniversary of Dr.Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan a great Teacher and a philosopher.This day aims to recognise and honour the contribution of our teachers.
Teaching is a noble profession and teachers make a difference in the lives of many.When it comes to the field of special education,Special educators are instrumental in making a huge positive impact in the lives of children and their parents as well."It takes a special person to teach someone special" and yes,the whole ELC Team are so unique and special in their own way,yet they come together as one,work together as one and do their best for the children.
As a means to honour the hardwork and efforts of the teachers,Teachers Day 2024 was celebrated with so much fun,unwinding themselves completely.Games were conducted and the teachers brought out the child in them,competed and played the games with so much enthusiasm.Beading,Rolling the dice,Sorting,Stacking paper cups,Dress up were the games played. These are the games and activities which are usually conducted by the teachers for the children.And for a change,the same were played by the teachers on this day.
After lot of fun playing,they had a wonderful unique dining experience - The Team Lunch at the Haunted themed restaurant.The whole day was a day of fun and laughter for the wonderful teachers of ELC.
Lets make it a point to remember and honour our teachers who enabled us learn,who made us who we are today.The simple gesture of taking time to wish our Teachers,showing gratitute for the people who made our lives better can make them feel valued and honoured.
