This year at Ekadaksha, Navaratri began by showing the children how to care for nature. They planted seeds and watered them everyday.
There was a puja and aarti. The children placed their books and plants for the puja and prayed. After that, it was posing time. Dressed as dandia dancers, children posed with dandia sticks. The celebration finale was the traditional dandia dance. Click here to see a Navaratri with nature.
The remedial children also had a fun Navaratri. They ate yummy sweets, posed with dandia sticks and of course danced to the tunes of the Dandia raas. Click here to see the Dandia dancers.
