This year 15th of August 2023,India celebrates her 77th Independence Day.On this occasion,lets take some time to value our nation and remember the sacrifices and contribution made by our leaders."For to be free is not merely to cast off one's chains,but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others". On this occasion of celebrating our country's Independence,lets make it a point to respect the freedom of others,respect children with special needs and understand they have the freedom to choose and live and celebrate life like any other child.
At Ekadaksha Learning Center, the children and teachers came in bright in shades of our Tricolor, filling the space with a sense of patriotism and pride.
The celebration began with the hoisting of our National flag by the Founders Ms.Bharathi and Ms.Kanaka.This was followed by the Flag Salute and National Anthem after which children from each class gave their wonderful performances to commemorate this day.
The Express A children expressed their patriotism by displaying the tricolor of our National flag using dupattas while their Volunteer Archana Joshi sang a patriotic song.
Sanjeev from Express B showed the National symbols - the National flower,National animal,National bird and National Emblem on "Avaz app",He also mentioned the colors of our National Flag - Green,Orange,White and Blue.
Amaan and Aravind from Experience 2A gave a dance performance for the song "Acchamm acchamm ellai". They used the hand made tricolor flags made by them in their classroom. The gentle movements and steps was a wonderful sight to watch.
Finally,Vishal from Experience 2B expressed his sense of patriotism by painting the tricolors of the flag. He painted with a sense of pride and did the final touch of blue with a sponge stamp.It was lovely to watch him paint and as he displayed his flag with smile,the love for our country filled the hearts of everyone.
After the class performances, the children and teachers listened to patriotic songs,sang along and danced.
As the tricolor flag that flies high,Lets fly high too,and be appreciative of our freedom.Lets be proud of our nation and create a better future characterized by harmony,love,acceptance and understanding.
