Christmas is a time, christmas is a time, christmas is a time to love: These are words of a Christmas song and in Ekadaksha, this christmas, there was love and joy. The tree was decorated, the lights were lit and Christmas drawings were made by the children. Then, the exciting part - Gifts galore - Mrs. Ganga, parent of one of our children sponsored gifts for all the children at the Center. The Center was filled with the sounds of Christmas carols and the smell of Christmas cake.
This Christmas was a mix of joy and sadness. Sadness for the people who were affected by the floods this December in Chennai and joy for the spirit of the people who came forward to help those in need. We at Ekadaksha too joined hands with the parents of our children by contributing to an area in poonamallee which was affected by the floods. We thank the parents for contributing to this cause and helping to bring back smiles and homes.
