"Blocks play" activity was conducted by Ms.Revathi,Assistant Teacher,ELC.
It was done with the theme-'Cricket'. The children had to use blocks and build things relating to this sport.
Children were divided and grouped house wise.Each group were given a tray of blocks.They sat along with their team,took turns and built stumps,bat and they even did ball using link up blocks. After it was done,each team displayed their cricket set by posing with their blocks for a group picture.They also posed as bowler,batsman and fielder.
The blocks play activity was enjoyed by the children with each of them being independent and at the same time working as a team to build the cricket set of cricket stumps,ball and bat.
