Fancy Dress Show was organised and conducted by Ms.J.Sumangali,Special educator,ELC.
The theme was colors.The children got dressed up in things representing their house color.
Yellow house - Children got dressed up as Sunflower,Sun,Lion,Banana
Blue house - Children got dressed up as World Map,Butterfly,Ocean
Green house - Children got dressed up as Tree,Betel Leaf
Red house - Children got dressed up as Ball,Clown,Parrot
The children got dressed up very beautifully using dupattas,color charts, props, they represented their character in a simple and apt manner. For example,Betel leaves were tied as a string and worn around the neck and head along with green dupatta to represent Betel Leaf.Another child came with a Globe and had string of maps tied around him to represent the World.A child came dressed up by wrapping yellow dupattas around and carrying banana to represent Banana.
They were called house wise and each child one by one,they walked the ramp,came to the front and introduced themselves.They said a few words about their character either verbally, on avaz or through actions.
