The first cocurricular activity of the academic year 2024-2025 was conducted by our special educator Ms.Komathi.It was a fun game,"Ball sticking game" modified as per the needs and levels of our children.

The game was played among the house groups - Red,Green,Yellow and Blue.Charts were painted in the colors red,green,yellow and blue respectively and small double tapes were stuck on the chart in horizontal rows so the children can stick the balls easily on the charts.

Two houses played at a time.The color charts of that particular houses were stuck on the wall.Tracks were drawn on the floor as so to guide the children to walk between the tracks while they run to stick the balls on the chart.The children of the house teams picked up the ball from one side,ran in their respective tracks and stuck the ball on the chart.The children took turns and played.Whichever team finished their balls first were declared the winner.Finals was played between the houses who won in the preliminary rounds - red house and blue house. 

The game was well understood by the children and they played the game with great enthusiasm.The children learnt to wait for their turn,coordinate with their house team members and listened to their instructions very well.They learnt to walk within their respective tracks.They focused well and enjoyed playing the game with great energy.While the teams were playing the other children cheered for them. The game was not only fun but also a lot of positive learning experience for the children and teachers.
