“Fishing game” was conducted by Ms.Priya, Assistant teacher, ELC.
The game was conducted between the four houses – Red,Yellow,Blue and Green.The swimming pool was filled with water and small balls were put into the pool.The pool was kept at one end and two trays were arranged at the other end.A fishing net (filter) was given to the childen to take the balls from water,carry them and transfer the balls to the tray kept at the other end.
Two houses played at a time.One child from each house played and once done he passed the turn to the next child in his team.Whichever team collected the maximum number of balls in the given time was declared the winner.
The children had lot of fun. They were encouraged and motivated by each other. Theylearnt to pick balls from water,balance and walk without dropping them.Though they competed with each other to win they played with good team spirit too.
