Janmashtami is the birthday of Lord Krishna. We at Ekadaksha celebrated this day by decorating the Lord and doing a puja for him. The children observed the entire process. We also sang bhajans devoted to Lord Krishna.
A story "Krishna - The butter thief" was enacted. Each child was given a role to play. One child was Krishna and others were given the role of Krishna's friends. At the end of the day, the children were given a bit of Krishna's favourite dish - Butter!
