Special education for special children
Bharathi Balarajan, special educator and a graduate of Commerce, she has completed a Diploma in special education, a certified course in Dance Movement Therapy and a course in Yoga Therapy.She is in charge of the prevocational unit.An experienced special educator,she is dedicated to working with children with special needs.
Archana Joshi, Special educator, Art based therapy practitioner and an Avaz certified AAC professional. A Commerce graduate, she has completed a diploma and a degree in Special education (B.Ed-Special Education). Apart from that she has also completed M.Sc. Applied Psychology and a course on Art based therapy and a course in Yoga therapy. She has also completed a certified professional course in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) which includes the use and implementation of the Avaz AAC app. She is in charge of the Early intervention(Explore) and Functional academic bridging group(Express).She has inculcated the Avaz app in the curriculum and coordinates with all groups towards its implementation.
Bindu Haridas, Special educator, Reiki master and Mother of a special child. A Commerce graduate, she has completed a Diploma in special education. She has been working with her own child as well as other children and is passionate about working with special children.
M.S. Kanaka, a tourism graduate and a mother. She started her special education journey as a Volunteer to become a wonderful teacher to children with special needs.Learning on the job is her forte and her heart lies in working with these lovely children.
