On the fourth of March 2012, Ekadaksha Learning Center completed 2 years of existence. The children enjoyed a fancy dress party, while an informative get together was organised for the parents.
Party time at Ekadaksha is always full of colour. This time it was full of different colours as well as characters. The children as well as the teachers dressed up and created a fairytale world at the Center. There was a witch, a dog, a flower and a tree among the teachers. The children came as policemen, pujaris, farmers, tribal men, princes and princesses, sportsmen, national icons and many more. Parents were very innovative and gave a lot of thought to give this experience to their children. This party was a lot of fun as well as learning for the children. The "ELC seminar for parents" was informative and also an occasion for all the parents to get together with each other. Topics for the seminar were - About childhood formation which emphasised that it is the parents and environment which bring about attitudes, behaviour and character in the child. Transition, which made everyone think what has to be done for their child in the future. Finally, a brief was given about planning and execution of classes at Ekadaksha.
