Happy Independence day!!!Jai HInd!!!
During the month of August, if you happen to pass by Ekadaksha every morning, one would hear 'Jana Gana Mana' being sung by the children and teachers. This ritual which has been on from the day Ekadaksha started continues every year. The children are introduced to their country and independence day with the National Anthem of our country India. Each class and child made wonderful art work to celebrate the day too. Click here to see the Indian flags made by the children.
After an introduction about the occasion, the children were divided into teams to play 'The flag relay race.' The teams had to pick a flag and place it into a stand.
