What we do - Ekadaksha Learning Center Chennai - By Stephen Eastop

Women's day 2017 at Ekadaksha Learning Center, Chennai"A strong woman is one who feels deeply and loves fiercely. A strong woman is both soft and powerful, she is both precious and practical. A strong woman in her essence is a gift to the world."

This Women's day, some of the talented mothers of Ekadaksha did activities with children in the classroom. Mrs. Jeeva (Mother of Vishal) visited the Experience prevocational group and demonstrated how to use a sewing machine. She also gave them the experience of using the machine. Mrs. Subathra (Mother of Sanjeev), did a craft activity with the Express functional academic group. The children painted paper cups yellow and stuck ragi seeds to make a beautiful sunflower of their own. Mrs. Bindu Ajith, a friend of Ekadaksha, did gardening with the children of the Explore early intervention group. They put mud, seeds, water and we hope to make a wonderful plant out of it.

During music time, Mrs.Bhuvana (Mother of Ram and Laxman), sang slokas and bhajans for the children which they listened to happily.

The children of all of groups were interested in each of these activities and had fun. Click here to see the celebration of women's day with the mothers.
